Red Crow Digital, working closely with the Sydney Beer Week team, designed and built a comprehensive, easy to use beer week guide for the 2017 and 2018 festivals. The website was a big hit with festival-goers, with over 20,000 logging on in each of the weeks to get the latest event info and purchase tickets to some of the best beer-related festivities Sydney has ever seen.

The sheer number of events involved in Sydney Beer Week meant that solid strategies needed to be implemented in the design and functionality of the site to guide people to events that sparked their interests with a minimum of scrolling. To help with this we used a number of easy categorisation and filtering options for users to quickly narrow down the huge list of events to those that most appealed to them, be it anything from beer and food matching, to education, to insider industry events.
Once the user is engaged by an event they have an interest in, the next goal is to convert this interest into ticket sales. To this end we used a full EventBrite integration, making the process of ticket selection and purchase as smooth and easy as possible.
Red Crow Digital were proud to be involved with such a fun, high-profile festival in the city of Sydney. We formed a great working relationship with the organisers and were able to respond to requests on the fly, even during the festival itself, to help ensure its success. The organisers decision to put their trust in us two years in a row for the festival website is testament to the quality of the final product and ease of communication, and we wouldn't hesitate to be involved should the festival run again.
