Red Crow Digital were asked to create a site that takes all the hard work out of organising Netball trials and provide the clubs a central place for their players to sign up, pay registration fees and keep track of selection rounds. From start to finish, we provided a site that handles all of the issues that may arise with organising trial events.
Our client needed everything to be accessible from one site including club information, sign up dates and details, payment processing and player tracking. Integrating online payment for player registration fees has taken a lot of the hard work out of organising what can be a very hard and drawn out process for the clubs.
We incorporated many features into the design, such as the ability to send out automatic reminders to the players for the trial events which made manual reminders a thing of the past. We also integrated a roll call feature, which allowed event organisers to keep track of who turned up to their trials. The system also allows flexibility for the club to take late enrolments of those who show up on the day without prior registration. Beyond a website build, this was also a full Django development.
